Resolved that the Council meeting minutes of March 5, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the delegation by Darren Parberry, President of Metis Transit with reference to Public Transit in Grimsby be received.

Resolved that the delegation by Sue Hotte, Treasurer of the Niagara Regional Labour Council with reference to the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) be received.

Resolved that the Grimsby Lion's Pool Building Tender Opening Report DRS12-06 be received and further that the tender in the amount of $848,500 plus applicable taxes for contract RP2011-F3, Grimsby Lions Pool Building Replacement project, from Brouwer Construction Ltd. be approved.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment minutes of March 6, 2012 be received and filed.

Resolved that the correspondence from the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, requesting that May be proclaimed as MS Awareness Month be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from OSUM with reference to the upcoming 2012 OSUM Conference and Trade Show, May 2nd - May 4th, 2012 be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from other municipalities be received and endorsed.

Resolved that Council go into Closed Session under Section 239 (2)(e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board -OMB appeals to Grimsby Official Plan

Resolved that Council return to Open Session.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law 12-14 and that same be now read a first time.

Resolved that By-law 12-14 read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same any rule of the Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
