Resolved that the minutes of the Committee of Adjustment meeting of July 20, 2010 be approved as circulated.

Resolved that Submission A-14/10 by Stephen & Tara Ostaszewicz for a Minor Variance from the provisions of By-Law 71-74, as amended, Section 11B, Residential R4 Zone to allow for the installation of an inground swimming pool, with a sideyard setback of 3.0 metres abutting a public street, and to allow for 1.5 metre high fence with a zero metre setback from the street line in a Residential R4 Zone at # 2 Hewitt Drive, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: Page 3 of 5 Committee of Adjustment July 20, 2010 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.

Resolved that Submission A-15/10 by Losani Homes Ltd., for a Minor Variance from the provision of By-Law 71-74, as amended by By-law-08- 61, Section 11A, Residential R3 Zone to allow for the construction of a Page 4 of 5 Committee of Adjustment July 20, 2010 single dwelling unit with a lot coverage of 39% in a Residential R3 Zone at # 27 Chestnut Drive, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.
