DiFlavio; Resolved that the Public Works Committee recommends that Report DPW17-17 dated May 10, 2017 regarding the Winston Road / North Page 2 of 4 Public Works Committee May 10, 2017 Service Road - Road Reconstruction Tender be received and that King Paving & Construction Company be awarded the contract in the low tendered amount of $5,486,840.55 (excluding tax) and that CIMA Engineering be approved to provide the construction Administration and Inspection and other engineering activities as identified in the report and further that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

DiFlavio; Resolved that the Public Works Committee recommends Report DPW17-19 dated May 4, 2017, regarding the contract award – PWC17-06-440039 – Watermain Rehabilitation, Kerman Avenue, Karen Crescent, Lakeside Drive, Central Avenue, Park Road North be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the contract to Catalina Excavating Inc. in the total tender amount of $1,395,048.50, excluding HST, and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Gibbons Contracting Ltd., in the tendered amount of $748,230.00 (corrected, excl. HST); and that the Upper Canada Planning and Engineering Ltd. proposal for Construction Administration and Inspection estimated at $1000 per day be approved and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.
