"RESOLVED, That Report TR-08-14 dated March 28, 2008, regarding the 2007 Statement of Remuneration and Expenses for Members of Council be received for information purposes.

"RESOLVED, That Report TM-08-05 dated April 3, 2008 regarding the 2008 Consolidated Budget be received; and 1. That the Consolidated Budget Summary appearing as Schedule B to Report TM-08-05 be approved and that the 2008 General Levy of $6,585,904 and Capital Levy of $945,000 resulting in a Total levy of $7,530,904 be included in the 2008 Tax Rate By-Law; and 2. That the 2008 Tax Rate By-Law be developed and presented as soon as practicable it being noted that this action is subject to Tax Ratios being provided by the Region of Niagara; and 3. That payment of the actual costs applicable to the debenture financing of the Grimsby Library/Art Gallery and the Peach King Centre be derived from the interest and related payments provided to the Town through an agreement with Grimsby Power Inc.; and Page 3 of 5 ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE April 14, 2008 4. That for purposes of certainty and direction the amounts assessed to the operating budget for payment of the debentures identified in recommendation 3 are to be removed at the expiration of the debenture period (the year 2014).
