“RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-21 dated April 27, 2009 regarding the Dedication of One-Foot Reserve as Public Highway – Being Part 5 of Plan 30R-2552 (West End of Marlow Avenue) be approved and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the Public Highway Dedication By-law and thereafter have the By-law registered in Land Titles.”

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-22 dated April 29, 2009 regarding the Town of Grimsby QEW Emergency Detour Routes (EDR) be received for information.”

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-24 dated May 7, 2009 regarding Award of 2009 Surface Treatment Contract be received, and that the quotation received from Norjohn Contracting and Paving Limited in the amount of $47,356.85, be accepted, and further, that the Director be authorized to prepare contract documents for execution by the Mayor and the Town Clerk."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-25 dated May 7, 2009 regarding the Award of Contract PWC09-02-320002, 2009 Hot Mix Paving Program be received, and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the low bidder, Norjohn Contracting and Paving Limited, in the tendered amount of $609,206.82 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents."

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-26, dated May 7, 2009 regarding the Award of Contract PWC09-03-411242, CCTV Inspection and Flushing be received and that the Director be authorized to award the Contract to Dynamic Industrial Services Incorporated in the total tender amount of $37,683.95 and further that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.”

Johnston; “RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-23 dated May 4, 2009 regarding the Casablanca Boulevard/South Service Road – Sidewalk be reviewed and the sidewalk proposal be endorsed for inclusion in the 2010 Public Works Capital Budget.”

Kadwell; "RESOLVED, That Notice of Study Commencement and Public Information Centre for the Smithville Wastewater Servicing Study, Class Environmental Assessment received May 11, 2009 be received for Council information and further, that the Region of Niagara be notified that the Town of Grimsby continues to identify that any conveyance of wastewater through Grimsby must identify existing odour control issues and proposed solutions within the final alternative."
