Resolved, that Report DPW12-23 dated June 21, 2012 regarding ‘Annual Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Management Review Report (2011-2012) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System’ is received by Town Council for review and information.

Resolved, that Report DPW12-24 dated June 21, 2012 regarding ‘Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Risk Assessment Update (2012)’ be received by Town Council for review and that this report and the following recommendations be approved:  That Council endorses the current revision of the DWQMS Risk Assessment, distributed to members of Public Works Committee with this report.

Resolved, that Report DPW12-25 dated June 26, 2012 regarding ‘Engineering Services for 2013 Capital Watermain Replacement Project PWC13-06-440032 - Beverly Street, Strathearn Avenue, William Avenue, Park Road North, Grand Avenue, Lake Street, Betts Avenue, Book Road and Bendamere Drive’ be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the design, contract administration and on-site supervision to W. MacKay Engineering Services Ltd. in the total estimated amount of $61,715.00, excluding H.S.T., including a $465.00 per diem for 2013 construct administration and inspection.

Resolved that Report DPW12-26, dated July 6, 2012 regarding the ‘Award of Tender Contract PWC12-02-400002 Sanitary Sewer Service Lateral Replacement’ be received and that the Director be authorized to award the Contract to VIC VATRT CONTRACTING LIMITED in the total tender amount of $149,635.44 (excluding HST) and further that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that the minutes of the Grimsby DIA Meeting dated May 17, 2012 be received and filed for information.
