Whereas the roads within the Historic Grimsby Beach neighborhoods are notably narrow and not designed to accommodate large vehicles such as buses and trucks; And whereas the presence of such large vehicles poses significant safety risks to residents, pedestrians, and other motorists due to the limited maneuverability and visibility on these roads; Therefore be it resolved that Staff report back at the next Public Works Standing Committee meeting on the proposal to restrict the entry of buses and other large vehicles into the Grimsby Beach neighborhoods, with exceptions only for essential services and emergency vehicles. Be it further resolved that Staff consider appropriate signage be installed at all entry points to the Grimsby Beach neighborhoods to inform drivers of these restrictions.
