Resolved that Report DPW10-40 dated August 3, 2010 regarding the North Service Road/Casablanca Blvd. Shoreline Protection Environmental Assessment Process, Design and Contract Administration Proposal for the Town’s Lakefront Property be received, and that the Shoreplan Engineering Limited proposal in the amount of $128,000 be approved and that the funding for this be obtained from the Subdivision Administration Reserves.

Resolved that Report DPW10-41, dated July 5, 2010, regarding the release of the Construction Lien hold back and the One Year Maintenance hold back for Contract PWC09-06-440018 Stewart Street, Lorne Avenue, Cherry Avenue, Murray Street, Stanley Avenue, Rodney Avenue, Cottage Avenue, & Garden Drive Watermain Rehabilitation and Contract PWC10-06-440018 Forest Road, Woodlawn Drive, Main Street East, & Casablanca Boulevard be received, and that the Director be authorized to release the Construction Lien hold back in the amount of $217,843.03 and further release the 2% Maintenance hold back in the amount of $44,876.87 when the one year maintenance period expires on May 12, 2011 in favour of Catalina Excavating Inc.

Resolved that the Report DPW10-42 , dated August 6, 2010 regarding release of Construction Lien Hold Back for Contract PWC09-04-400017, Main Street West Sanitary Sewers be received and further that the Director be authorized to release the Construction Lien Hold Back and final payment in the amount of $107,661.96 to Kenwood Trenching & Excavating Ltd. and further that $14,740.32 be retained to guarantee works until June 30, 2011 and further, subject to the contractor addressing all deficiencies, the Director be authorized to release the $14,740.32.

Resolved that Report DPW10-43 dated August 4, 2010 regarding the Town Hall Expansion Update be received for information.

Page 5 of 6 Public Works August 11, 2010 Resolved that the correspondence received from Instride Productions Ltd. dated September 30, 2009 regarding the routes of the November 13, 2010 Tim Horton's Casablanca Classic 8K Race and any street closure requirements be approved by Town Council subject to the obtaining and providing the following to the Town prior to the race: - permit requirements (if applicable) - advertisement of the event in the local paper and signed on location - notice to local residents.

Resolved that the DIA minutes of June 17, 2010 be received and filed.

Resolved that Rain Barrel Program 2010 Summary be received and filed.
