Planning Development Committee

Gillespie; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-07 regarding an application for zoning by-law amendment by the Grimsby Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 308 Lake Street be received and that the application be approved. Further that the draft by-law attached to Appendix "A" as amended be forwarded to Council for approval. Further that Clause 2 of Appendix “A” be amended to allow a maximum gross floor area of 600 sq.m.

Resolved that Report DBE-14-1, dated February 2014, be received and that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Regional Development Charge Service Level Agreement between the Town and the Region of Niagara.

Andreychuk; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-06, regarding an application for extension of Draft Plan approval for 524 Main Street West Condominium 26CD-16-1002, be extended until February 21, 2015.

Andreychuk; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-05, regarding Planning Application Fees be received, and that the revised fee schedule attached as Appendix "A" be approved, and a by-law be passed implementing the revised rates effective February 18, 2014.

Resolved that Report P.A. 14-10, regarding zoning amendment application by D. & M. Swaerdens for the removal of holding provisions, 209 Main Street W. be received and that the application be approved. Further that the draft by-law attached to the report as Appendix “A” Page 5 of 7 Planning & Development Committee February 11, 2014 be forwarded to Council for passage.

Johnston; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-08, regarding the Smarter Niagara Incentive Programs, Grimsby Heritage Restoration and Improvement Grant Program be received as information. And that continuation of the program be considered as part of the 2014 municipal budget process.

Resolved that the following Public Meeting minutes be adopted as Schedule "A" to the Planning & Development minutes dated February 11, 2014. Schedule "A": Public Meeting Minutes, dated January 14, 2014 Regarding a Zoning Amendment Application Z-13-03 467-471 Maple Avenue

Seaborn; Resolved that the minutes of the GEDAC meeting of January 16, 2014, be received as information.

Seaborn; Resolved that the GHAC minutes of the meeting held on February 4, 2014, be received as information.
