Administration Finance Committee

Resolved that the Administration and Finance Committee recommends that Report HS-18-01 dated January 2, 2018 regarding Fire Safety Plans for Carnegie Building be received by Town Council for review; and, That Council endorses the new Fire Safety Plan dated November 2017; and, Page 2 of 3 Administration & Finance Committee January 8, 2018 That the Town Manager be authorized to execute the Fire Safety Plans and submit them to the Chief Fire Official for approval.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee recommends to Town Council; 1. That Report FIN 18-01 regarding the 2018 Interim Tax Levy and Tax Rates be received; and, 2. That a by-law authorizing the 2018 interim tax levy and tax rates as set out in Schedule B be approved; and, 3. That the interim tax levy installment due dates be set as March 2nd and May 4th, 2018.

Resolved that Report FIN 18-02 dated December 30, 2017 with regard to Tax write-offs be received and that the total write-offs in the amount of $43,087.46 be approved.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee recommends to Town Council; 1. That Report FIN 18-03, Consolidated Fees and Charges be received; and, Page 3 of 3 Administration & Finance Committee January 8, 2018 2. That a by-law authorizing the Consolidated Fees and Charges as set out in Schedule A be approved.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee recommends to Town Council; 1. That Report FIN 18-04 Finance Fees and Charges be received; and, 2. That the Finance Fees and Charges be approved and incorporated in the Consolidated Fees & Charges By-law.
