“RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-22 dated June 7, 2010 regarding the 2010 Development Charges Study Update – Public Works Projects and Winston Road Area Neighbourhood Servicing Plans be received and further that the attached Winston Road Area Neighbourhood Development’s Plans No. 1, 2 and 3 be approved in principal and the $10,610,000 in new Town Public Works Development Charges projects (which includes Town future contributions of $2,315,000 as identified at $736,000 from the Water Budget, $150,000 from the Sanitary Budget and $1,429,000 from the Transportation Capital Budget) be approved for submission into the 2010 Development Charges Study Update.”

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-27, dated May 18, 2010, regarding Award of Contract PWC10-52130-A, Supply of One (1) New 2010 Compact Cargo Van be received; and further, that the Tender bid from Forbes Ford Sales Ltd. (Grimsby) in the amount of $26,922.31 (taxes included) for one (1) new 2010 Compact Cargo Van, as per 2010 Fleet Capital Budget, be accepted."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-28, dated May 21, 2010, regarding Award of Contract PWC10-52130-C, Supply of One (1) New 2010 Municipal Sidewalk Tractor with Attachments be received; and further, that the quote from Work Equipment Ltd. (Courtland, Ont.) in the amount of $79,100.00 (cost of demonstrator unit minus trade-in, taxes included) for one (1) new 2010 Municipal Sidewalk Tractor with Attachments, as per the 2010 Fleet Capital Budget, be accepted."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW 10-29, dated May 26, 2010, regarding the Award of Contract PWC10-52130-B, Supply of One 91) New 2010 Two (2) Ton Dump Truck C/W Plow be received; and further, that the quote from Forbes Ford Sales Ltd. (Grimsby), in the amount of $60,888.92 (taxes included) for one (1) new 2010 Two (2) Ton Dump Truck, as per the 2010 Fleet Capital Budget, be accepted."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-30 dated June 7, 2010 regarding Town of Grimsby Lake Front Property on the North Service Road; West of Casablanca - Shoreline Protection be received for information and that the Director be approved to proceed with the Request for Proposals for the Environmental Assessment, design and approvals for the shoreline protection works."

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-31 dated June 9, 2010 regarding the Dorchester Drive Traffic Safety Review – Update and it is recommended that we employ UEM Professional Consultant Services to carry out a full Traffic Safety and Operational Study of Dorchester Drive from Main Street East to Nelles Road including all intersections at an estimated cost of $15,000; with funding from the Subdivision Administration Reserve.”

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-32 dated June 11, 2010 regarding Award of Contract PWC10-02-320003 - 2010 Surface Treatment Contract be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to Norjohn Contracting and Paving Limited in the tendered amount of $107,390.26 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents."

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-33, dated June 10, 2010 regarding the Award of Contract PWC10-03-411242, Sanitary Sewer Flushing and CCTV Inspection be received and that the Director be authorized to award the Contract to Empipe Solutions Ltd. in the total tender amount of $29,891.25 and further that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.”

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-34 dated June 11, 2010 regarding the Award of Contract PWC10-02-320040 Patton Street Road Reconstruction be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the successful bidder, Steed & Evans Limited, in the tendered amount of $205,335.60 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-35 dated June 11, 2010 regarding the Award of Contract PWC10-02-320002, 2010 Hot Mix Paving and Sidewalk Program Contract be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to Associated Paving & Materials Ltd. in the tendered amount of $690,026.00 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents."

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-36 dated June 14, 2010 regarding Cherrywood Estates Subdivision, Final Subdivision Approval be received, and that Schedule 'F' (Financial Obligations and Cost of Construction), and Schedule 'I' (Special Provisions) as attached to this report be approved and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the Subdivision Agreement and all necessary documents, all subject to the Developer first completing the following outstanding items to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works: - Completion and signing of all approved engineering plans, - Approval of Noise Attenuation Study, - Ministry of the Environment (MOE) Certificate of Approvals for Storm and Sanitary Systems, and further, that the Developer be approved to pre-service the subdivision at his own risk subject to first obtaining all necessary agencies approval and meeting the Town's Standard Pre-Servicing Conditions."

"RESOLVED, That correspondence from T. Mueller dated May 29, 2010 regarding the 2010 Terry Fox Run on September 19, 2010 be received and the route on Town road allowances be approved subject to the Town of Grimsby be named as additionally insured on the Certificate of Insurance."
