Resolved that Council approves the development of a Request for Proposal for an Economic Development Plan to encompass development and tourism initiatives; that this strategy be a 2010 project; and that funding be limited to $15,000 derived from the Economic Development & Tourism reserve.

Resolved that the request by the Chamber of Commerce for a $10,000 contribution toward a pre 2009 deficit of tourism activity be approved and that funding be derived from the budget contingency.
