Resolved, that the July 11th, 2023 GHAC Agenda be approved, as amended.

Resolved that Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee minutes of June 13, 2023 be approved.

Resolved, that the consultant presentation be recieved.

Resolved, That Report GH 23-13 Staff Recommendation Report, Main Street East – Heritage Conservation District Study, dated July 11, 2023 be received; and 1. That the recommended sub-character area known as the Historic Residential Core be designated under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act; and 2. That the boundary for the designated area be established following the review of options for the property at 133-137 Main Street East; and 3. That Staff work with the consultants to commence the second phase of the study and develop the associated district plan and guidelines; and 4. That the properties in Appendix ‘B’ be considered for designation following the recent passing of Bill 23; and 5. That prioritization be given to Part IV designations for properties located within the Downtown Core.

Resolved, that Pamela Evans delegation be received.

Resolved, that Dave Drew delegation be received.

Resolved, that the written delegation - Wood Bull LLP be received; and that, staff look into the options regarding the heritage property at 133-137 Main Street East in regards to the Heritage Conservation District boundary.

Resolved, that 482 Main Street West be designated under Part IV Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and that a Notice of Intention to designate be issued in accordance with the Ontario Heritage Act.

Resolved, that 123 Main Street West be designated under Part IV Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and that a Notice of Intention to designate be issued in accordance with the Ontario Heritage Act.

Resolved, that 3 East Street be designated under Part IV Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and that a Notice of Intention to designate be issued in accordance with the Ontario Heritage Act.
