Page 2 of 6 Public Works May 11, 2011 Resolved that Report DPW11-18 dated May 5, 2011 regarding Winston Road Traffic – 2011 be received for information and that the request for a Winston Road road closure be denied and that Town staff continue to monitor Winston Road traffic volumes and speeds and further that the Public Works Director be authorized to investigate through our Traffic Consultant, possible Winston Road roadway / intersection changes in the Bravo Development area that will restrict increased traffic flows towards the west end of Winston Road.

Resolved that Report DPW11-16 dated May 5, 2011 entitled ‘Town of Grimsby Drinking Water System - Backflow Prevention Program Property Compliance Update and Water Shut Off Notification Process (May 2011)’ is received by Town Council for information.

Resolved that Report DPW11-15, dated April 21, 2011, regarding Award of Contract PWC11-52130-A, Supply of One (1) New 2011 Municipal Sidewalk Tractor with Attachments be received; and further, that the quote Page 3 of 6 Public Works May 11, 2011 from Work Equipment Ltd. (Courtland,Ontario) in the amount of $79,100 (cost of 2010 demonstrator unit minus trade-in, HST included) for one (1) municipal sidewalk tractor with attachments, as per the 2011 Fleet Capital Budget, be accepted.

Resolved that Report DPW11-17 dated May 5, 2011 regarding the purchase of two (2) 3M Driver Feedback Digital Speed Display Signs Units be received and that the Town Director be authorized to purchase these two Speed Display Signs from Innovative Traffic Solutions Inc. in the total amount of $10,062.00 (excluding taxes) with funding provided from the 2011 Budget Contingency.

Resolved that Report DPW11-19 dated May 5, 2011 regarding the Award of Contract PWC11-03-411242, Sanitary Sewer Flushing & CCTV Inspection be received and that the Director be authorized to award the Contract to Dynamic Industrial Services Inc. in the total tender amount of $32,855.54 and further that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that Report DPW11-20 dated May 5, 2011 regarding Award of Contract PWC11-02-320003 Surface Treatment Program 2011 be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the Norjohn Contracting and Paving Limited in the tendered amount of $138,968.85 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that Report DPW11-21 dated May 5, 2011 regarding the Award of Contract PWC11-02-320002, Hot Mix Paving Program 2011 and Town Hall Entrance Construction Contract be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the low bidder, A-1 Asphalt Maintenance Ltd. in the tendered amount of $331,129.46 and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that the DIA minutes of March 24, 2011 be received for information and filed.

Resolved that correspondence regarding the Yellow Fish Road Program from Christine Schmidt be received for information and that the program be endorsed by Council.
