Dunstall; Resolved that Report DPW16-11 dated March 30, 2016 regarding Lakehouse (Place Polonaise) Subdivision Agreement Approval be received and that this Subdivision Agreement be approved including Schedules as attached, subject to the following conditions: Page 2 of 4 Public Works Committee April 13, 2016 1. That the Subdivision Engineering and Hydro/Streetlight Plans be finalized to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works; and that, 2. The attached plans showing proposed on-street parking, regulatory stop sign locations and parking restriction areas be endorsed; and that, 3. The Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to sign the Subdivision Agreement and all other easements and land transfers that may be required; and further that, 4. The developer be allowed to pre-service the subdivision works at their sole risk subject to MOEE approval, an MTO Land Use Permit and the Developer meeting the Town’s pre-servicing requirements for Letter of Credit guarantee, insurance and all Town fees and charges.

DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW16-12, dated March 24, 2016, regarding Contract for 2016 Catch Basin Cleaning be received; and further, that the one-year quote from Flow Kleen Technology for catch basin cleaning at the 2016 unit price of $15.73 (HST excluded) be accepted.

Kadwell; Resolved that Report DPW16-13 dated March 30, 2016, regarding Woolverton Road and Park Road – Heavy Motor Vehicle Prohibition By-law from Ridge Road to Main Street (RR#81) be received and the proposed By-law (attached) be approved and forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for a short form wording and set fine Order under Provincial Offences signed by the Mayor Page 3 of 4 Public Works Committee April 13, 2016 and Town Clerk and subject to the Order approval, the Director of Public Works be authorized to install the signs and implement the initial Enforcement as identified within this Report and further, that By-law No. 98-107 (Reduced Load Restrictions – 5t/axle) be amended by deleting Woolverton Road from Ridge Road West to Main Street West (RR#81).

Kadwell; Resolved that Report DPW16-14 dated April 8, 2016, regarding the Contract Award - PWC16-06-440036 – Watermain Rehabilitation, Lake Street, Elizabeth Street, Olive Street, Redwood Drive, Burgess Drive, McNab Drive, Kelson Avenue South, Leawood Drive, Hillview Drive, Queens Court, Woodcrest Drive be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the contract to Nexterra Substructures Inc. in the total tender amount of $1,320,678.50, excluding HST, and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Kadwell; Resolved that the correspondence received from Dave Mucyk for Ironman Canada Inc. and Nick Stoehr for Iron Girl Canada and their race events scheduled consecutively July 17 and August 6, 7, 2016 requesting authorization to use Town roads subject to all required documents being submitted to the Town prior to the event.

Kadwell; Resolved that the correspondence dated April 6, 2016 from Petar Vujic, Corridor Safety Manager, Niagara Region, be received for information and conveyed to the concerned resident.

DiFlavio; Resolved that the Grimsby DIA meeting minutes of February 16, 2016 be received as circulated and filed for records purposes.
