Resolved that Report DPW11-01 dated January 18, 2011 regarding „Town of Grimsby Occupational Health and Safety Program Manual Update’ is received by Town Council for review and that this report and the following recommendations be approved: Page 2 of 6 Public Works February 16, 2011 That Council approve the corporate health and safety policies and procedures contained in the current update to the Corporation of the Town of Grimsby Occupational Health and Safety Program Manual (CO-GEN-OHS- MAN-001-001); and That the Town Manager be authorized to execute the above policies and procedures on behalf of Council.

Resolved that Report DPW11-03 dated February 1, 2011 regarding the „Annual Municipal Summary Report (2010) & Annual Drinking Water Systems Report (2010) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System is hereby received by Town Council. Enclosed Documents The following documents have been appended to this report: 1. Ministry of Environment‟s information article “Roles and Responsibilities of the Owners of Municipal Drinking Water Systems”, included as Appendix „A‟. 2. Annual Drinking Water Systems Report (2010) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System, included as Appendix „B‟. Page 3 of 6 Public Works February 16, 2011 3. Region of Niagara Grimsby Water Treatment Plant Water Consumption and Capacity 2010 summary table, included as Appendix „C‟.

Resolved that Report DPW11-02 dated February 9, 2011 regarding the Town Hall Reconstruction and Additions - Project Update be received and that the total Town Hall project Budget be revised from $7,800,000 to $8,300,000 with the additional costs funded by the Town‟s Gas Tax Reserve.

Resolved that the Report DPW11-04, dated January 31, 2011 regarding release of Construction Lien Hold Back for Contract PWC10-04-400002, Sanitary Sewer & Manhole Rehabilitation be received and further that the Director be authorized to release the Construction Lien Hold Back and remaining item(s) payment in the amount of $20,099.31 (including taxes) to Sewer Technologies Inc. and further that 2% maintenance holdback in the amount of $2,898.60 be retained to guarantee works for the maintenance period until November 30, 2011 and further, subject to the Contractor addressing all deficiencies, the Director be authorized to release the $2,898.60.

Resolved that Report DPW11-05, dated February 9, 2011, regarding the Award of Contract PWC10-06-440023 Garden Drive, Oriole Crescent, Vinewood Avenue, Whittaker Avenue, and Christie Street/Main Street West Watermain Replacement be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to Cotton Inc. in the total tender amount of $1,043,816.00 and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that Report DPW11-06 dated February 10, 2011 regarding Forty Mile Creek Easement Agreements to be conveyed to the Town being Part 1 of Plan 30R-13632 (#115 Gibson Street) and for Part 2 and Part 3 of Plan 30R- 13632 (#117 Gibson Street) be approved for signing by the Mayor and Town Clerk.

Resolved that Report DPW11-07 dated February 14, 2011 regarding the Final Payment and Release of the Ten Percent Construction Lien Hold Back – Contract PWC10-02-320002, Hot Mix Paving & Sidewalk Program 2010 be received and that the Director be authorized to release the final payment and the ten percent construction lien hold back in the amount of $72,499.76 to Associated Paving & Materials Ltd.

Resolved that the DIA minutes of December 23, 2010, January 2011 and Annual General Meeting January 9, 2010 be received for information and filed.
