Resolved that Submission A-08/17 by Robert Scarpelli & Rita Swant to allow for the construction of a 90 square metre addition to Page 4 of 4 Committee of Adjustment May 2, 2017 an existing legal non-conforming accessory structure in a Neighbourhood Commercial (NC) Zone at #168 Main Street East, Grimsby be granted with conditions for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land. Subject to the following conditions: 1. A tree preservation plan prepared by a qualified arborist must be submitted to the satisfaction of the Town's peer-review expert, the cost of which will be borne by the applicant.
