"RESOLVED, That Report TM-09-06, dated March 26, 2009, with reference to Grant Program Authorizations be received, and that the following be endorsed: 1. The Town Manager is authorized on behalf of Town Council to apply for Infrastructure Stimulus Funding for the Redevelopment/Renovation Town Hall Project; and 2. The Director of Public Works is authorized to apply for Infrastructure Stimulus Funding for the Book Road North Road Reconstruction project; and 3. The Director of Public Works is authorized to apply for Infrastructure Stimulus Funding for identified watermain replacements; and Page 1 of 3 SPECIAL ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE April 27, 2009 4. The Director of Recreation, Facilities and Culture is authorized to apply for funding from the Building Canada Fund Community Component for the Community Recreation Sports Park; and 5. It is noted that items 1, 2 and 3, in accordance with the Stimulus Program would not have proceeded prior to March 31, 2011, without the Infrastructure Stimulus Program Funding."

"RESOLVED, That the Request by the Foundation of Resources for Teens the tenant at 16 Adelaide Street “the Carnegie Building” to construct an elevator in the Carnegie Building in accordance with generally accepted construction and engineering requirements be approved; and That the elevator construction is approved in accordance with Section 5 b. of the Terms and Conditions of the Lease Agreement between the Town of Grimsby and the Foundation of Resources for Teens dated September 1, 2004."

"RESOLVED, That Report TM-09-05 dated April 15, 2009 regarding the 2009 Consolidated Budget be received, and 1. That the Consolidated Budget Summary appearing as Schedule A to Report TM-09-05 be approved as amended, to result in a total levy of $7,868,100 being included in the 2009 Tax Rate By-Law; and 2. That payment of the actual costs applicable to the debenture financing of the Grimsby Library/Art Gallery and the Peach King Centre be derived from the interest and related payments provided to the Town through a Promissory Note with Grimsby Power Inc.; and 4. That for purposes of certainty and direction the amounts assessed to the operating budget for payment of the debentures identified in recommendation 3 are to be removed at the expiration of the debenture period (the year 2014); and 5.
