That the Community Outreach and Education Working Group be extended for an additional one year, renewable upon mutual agreement and based on the achievement of objectives, with the primary objective of public education and engagement, exploring the possibility of revisiting the "Doors Open" initiative, and providing support to the community in heritage preservation matters; and 2. That the Manager/Curator of the Grimsby Museum, President of the Grimsby Historical Society, any other interested members of the Grimsby Historical Society, and manager/curator of Nelles Manor, be appointed to the Working Group.

Resolved, that Report HR 24-14, dated July 9th, 2024, regarding the Heritage Property Grant Program, be received; and That GHAC recommends the implementation of the Designated Heritage Grant Program and next steps to support the preservation and conservation of heritage properties; and That the GHAC recommends that the program be reevaluated after the one-year mark; and That insurance upgrades be included as a priority within eligible works; and, That GHAC provides feedback on the point system.
