Resolved that the Special Council Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of April 18, 2017 be approved.

Resolved that the presentation by Denise Landry, Planner, Niagara Region Planning & Development Services with reference to the Grimsby GO Hub and Transit Station Study be received.

Resolved that the presentation by Hamilton Health Services with reference to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital be received.

Resolved that the delegation of Steven Gruninger, Director of Finance and Town Treasurer with reference to the 2017 Town of Grimsby Budget be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from Stacy Veld, Superintendent of Business Services & Treasurer of the Board, District School Board of Niagara regarding Community Planning and Partnerships Annual Meeting be received.

Resolved that correspondence from Dipika Damerla, Minister of Seniors Affairs regarding Seniors' Month be received.

Resolved that Report TM-17-07 dated April 20, 2017 be received and that the Council of the Town of Grimsby approves in principle the Optimal Future Organizational Structure for the IT & Service Innovation Department, and That the Council for the Town of Grimsby approves of posting in 2017 a Director of IT & Service Innovation, and That the Council for the Town of Grimsby approves of posting in early 2018 for a Business Systems Analyst provided that no final hiring occurs until after the 2018 budget is approved by Council.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 17-38 to 17- 41 inclusive and that same be read a first time.

Resolved that Council meet in Closed Session under Sec. 239(3)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, an ongoing investigation respecting the municipality, a local board or a municipally-controlled corporation by the Ombudsman appointed under the Ombudsman Act, an Ombudsman

Resolved that Council of the Town of Grimsby delegates authority to the Town Manager to appoint an Acting Director of the IT and Service Innovation Department.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 17-38 to 17- 41 inclusive read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed; and that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal the same; any rule of Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
