Administration Finance Committee

Resolved that the Memorandum prepared by the Town Manager to the Members of the Administration & Finance Committee dated May 13, 2011, with reference to Corporate Fire Safety Plan and Emergency Procedures Manual be received.

Resolved that Report TM-11-03 dated May 3, 2011 regarding “Award of Proposal for Consulting Services for the Preparation of a Corporate Fire Safety Plan and Emergency Procedure Manual for the Town of Grimsby” be received and the Town Manager be authorized to award this work to Innovative Fire Inc. (IFI) in the amount of $52,370 to be split over two years.

Resolved that the report entitled "Downtown Grimsby - Community Improvement Plan, Incentive Programs” dated June 13, 2011, be received as information, and; Page 3 of 4 Page 3 Administration & Finance June 13, 2011 That the program requirements for the Commercial/Mixed Use Building Facade Grant be endorsed as a pilot project for a period of two years, and; That a report be brought forward to Administration and Finance Committee at the conclusion of the pilot project to evaluate the success of the program and consider continuation of the program, and; That a report be brought forward to the Administration and Finance Committee to consider implementation of other Incentive Programs described in the Downtown Grimsby Community Improvement Plan, and; That a by-law be brought forward to Council to adopt the Commercial/Mixed Use Building Facade Grant pilot project as provided for under Section 28 of the Planning Act, and; That the program is to be reviewed in accordance with the Downtown Grimsby Design Guidelines prepared by GSP Group Inc. dated December 2009, and; That $25,000 be allocated from the Budget Contingency Reserve for Implementation of the Commercial/Mixed Use Building Facade Grant for 2011.

Resolved that Report FIN 11-22 dated June 7, 2011 regarding the 2010 Schedule of Reserves, Reserve Funds and Trust Funds be received.

Resolved that Report FIN 11-23 dated June 9, 2011 with reference to the 2010 Analysis of Portfolio Investments be received.

Resolved that for the months of July, August and September the Administration & Finance Committee meetings commence at 6:30 p.m.
