Resolved that the Council minutes of April 16, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the delegation of Doug Curtiss, Chief Executive Officer, Grimsby Power with reference to Grimsby Power rate application and Ontario Energy Board rate order decision and presentation on Smart Meters be received.

Resolved that the Recreation Services Committee minutes of April 24, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment minutes of April 24, 2012 be received and filed.

Resolved that the correspondence from the Grimsby Garden Club be received and that June 2, 2012 be proclaimed as Grimsby Garden Club Day.

Resolved that the correspondence from the Brandee Elliott Education Projects be received and that June 7, 2012 be proclaimed as Good Citizenship Day.

Resolved that the resolutions from other municipalities be received.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-Laws 12-23 and 12-24, 12-26 to 12-29 and that same be now read a first time.

Resolved that authorization be provided for the distribution of funds from Niagara Power Inc. in lieu of Shareholder representative remuneration: for Jazz on the Ridge tickets for members of Council.

Resolved that Council meet in closed session under section 239(2)(b) and 239(2)(C) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Park Planning - Community Recreation Sports Complex - personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Grimsby Library Board Vacancy

Resolved that Council return to open session.

Resolved that Council approve the appointment of Gordana Mosher to the Grimsby Public Library Board for the term of Council ending November, 2014.

Resolved that By-laws 12-23 and 12-24, 12-26 to 12-29 read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same any rule of the Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
