Resolved that Submission A-11/18 by 1834439 Ontario Inc. to allow for a medical marihuana facility to be located 80 metres from the lot line of any Residential Zone in a Specialty Crop (SC) Zone at Page 4 of 4 Committee of Adjustment July 6, 2018 #378 South Service Road, Grimsby be approved with conditions for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land. Subject to the following conditions: Upward directed roof vents together with industrial grade multi- stage carbon filtration system, or similar technology, to reduce and/or treat the emission of pollen, dust and odours expelled from a facility and sized accordingly in comparison to the facility it serves as designed by a qualified person. That the Medical Marijuana Facility be operated within the confines of the existing, site plan approved greenhouse operation as July 6, 2018.
