Resolved that the Council meeting minutes of February 6, 2017 be approved.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee meeting minutes of February 14, 2017 be received and that the recommendations contained therein be approved.

Resolved that the Recreation Services Committee meeting minutes of February 14, 2017 be received and the recommendations contained therein be approved.

Resolved that Resolution 17-12 from the February 14, 2017 Planning & Development Committee meeting be lifted for separate consideration.

Resolved that Report 17-05 from the Planning and Development Committee meeting minutes of February 14, 2017 regarding the building at 5 Boulton Avenue be received, and That 5 Boulton Avenue be included in the Grimsby Heritage Register; and That the notice of intention to designate be issued under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act for Grimsby Secondary School at 5 Boulton Avenue.

Resolved that authorization be provided for the distribution of funds from Niagara Power Inc. Hydro Shareholders Representative Account in lieu of Shareholder representative remuneration: • Coldest Night of the Year - $500. • KECING Fundraiser - $500

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment meeting minutes of February 7, 2017 be received and filed.

Resolved that the correspondence from the Town of New Tecumseth dated January 26, 2017 with reference to Municipal Fire Department Infrastructure be received and endorsed.

Resolved that the Resolutions from Other Municipalities be received.

Resolved that the West Niagara Secondary Accommodation Review Final Staff Report to the District School Board of Niagara Trustees dated February 9, 2017 be received.

Resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby officially opposes the recommendation contained in the Final Staff Report of the District School Board of Niagara to close Grimsby Secondary School.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 17-20 to 17- 23 inclusive and that same be read a first time.

Resolved that the Closed Session under Sec. 239(2)(d) of the Municipal Act 2001, labour relations or employee negotiations and Sec. 230(2)(e) of the Municipal Act 2001, litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals affecting the municipality or local board. Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 17-20 to 17- 23 inclusive read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed; and that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal the same; any rule of Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
