Resolved that the minutes of the regular Council meeting of July 20, 2009 be approved.

Resolved that the minutes of the Special Council meeting of July 22, 2009, be approved.

Resolved that a delegation by Mr. Mike Pettigrew, of Losani Homes, with reference to Driveway approaches in Sumner Crescent Subdivison, be received.

WHEREAS the curbs on Sumner Crescent for Lots 1-27 be permitted to be cut to align with the garage; AND FURTHER THAT the cost of the curb cut be the responsibility of the Developer, Losani Homes.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee minutes of August 12, 2009, be approved.

Cruickshank; Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee minutes of August 11, 2009, be approved.

Andreychuk; Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment minutes of July 28, 2009, be received and filed.

Resolved that Report FCR 09-11 dated August 17, 2009 with reference to the Master Fire Plan Consultant be received and that the consulting firm of T. L. Powell and Associates Ltd. be retained to complete a Master Fire Plan for the Town of Grimsby Fire Department at a cost of $23,650 excluding taxes.

Resolved that funds in the following amounts be distributed from the funds received from Niagara Power Inc. in lieu of Shareholder representative remuneration: Niagara West Literacy; Raise a Reader $500.00 Foundation Of Resources for Teens (FORT) $500.00 Niagara West Mayor's Golf Tournament $100.00

Resolved that the correspondence listed as Resolutions from Other Municipalities, be received.

Cruickshank; Revolved that leave be given to introduce By-law No. 09-63 to 09-71, inclusive and the same be now read a first time. Page 5 of 6 COUNCIL August 24, 2009

Andreychuk; Resolved that By-laws No. 09-63 to 09-71, inclusive, just read a first time, be now read a second time and third time and finally passed, that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal that same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
