Resolved that Keith Vogl be appointed Acting Clerk for the Council meeting on Monday, April 16, 2012.

Resolved that the Council minutes of April 2, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the delegation of Stephen Barker & Pat Jaskula with reference to Grimsby Purina Walk for Dog Guides be received and May 27, 2012 be declared Dog Guide Day in Grimsby.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee minutes of April 9, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee minutes of April 10, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee minutes of April 11, 2012 be approved.

Resolved that the correspondence from the Canadian Cancer Society be received and that the month of April be proclaimed as Daffodil Month.

Resolved that the resolutions from other municipalities be received.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-laws 12-17 to 12-22 inclusive and that same be now read a first time.

Resolved that Council meet in closed session under section 239 (2)(c) of the Municipal Act, 2001, a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board -purchase of park property

Resolved that Council return to open session.

Resolved that By-laws 12-17 to 12-22 inclusive read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same any rule of the Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
