Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A. 14-9, regarding a site plan application by Crombie REIT for a proposed bank at 150 Main Street East be received and that the application be approved subject to the applicant meeting the conditions specified in Appendix “A” of the report to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning. Further that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the development agreement on the Town’s behalf.

Resolved that Report DBE-14-2 dated March 4, 2014, be received and the Building Department 2014 operating budget with a gross amount of $426,155.00 and a levy amount of $0 be approved and forwarded to the Administration & Finance Committee for consideration in the overall budget.

Seaborn; Resolved that Report DBE-14-3, dated March 4, 2014, be received and the By-law Enforcement 2014 operating budget with a gross amount of $173,035.00 and a levy amount of $113,035.00 be approved and forwarded to the Administration & Finance Page 3 of 5 Planning & Development Committee March 4, 2014 Committee for consideration in the overall budget.

Resolved that Report P.A. 14-15, regarding a proposed heritage easement agreement at 399 Main Street West be received; And that the associated by-law and easement agreement be forwarded to Council for approval and signed by the Mayor and Town Clerk.

Johnston; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-13, regarding the proposed Memorandum of Understanding with recommendations on the Planning System in Niagara be received and endrosed, and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the MOU on behalf of the Town. And that the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority be encouraged to improve public input and information regarding policy and mapping changes. Johnston; Resolved that Report P.A. 14-14, regarding a proposed Town initiated official plan amendment to permit administrative changes be received; And that the Planning Department be authorized to initiate a Town initiated official plan amendment to permit administrative changes.
