Resolved, that the delegation of Carlin Rosart is received by the Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee.

Resolved, That Report G.H. 16-02 be received; And that the Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee recommends the following: That the Lawrence House at 61 Main Street East does not meet the criteria for designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and That the Lawrence House at 61 Main Street East be documented through photographic archival recording prior to demolition; and That the proposal for the replacement building at 61 Main Street Page 3 of 3 Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee May 17, 2016 East be circulated to the Heritage Advisory Committee for review; and That the existing staircase, ocular window and eave brackets be removed prior to demolition and kept in a location that is clean and dry so that these elements can be incorporated into the future building's design upon construction of the new commercial building.
