Resolved that Report DPW19-43 dated September 26, 2019 regarding ‘Dorchester Drive Traffic Safety Issues’ be received for information and that the recommendation to add the Dorchester Drive residents’ speeding concerns versus measured speeds issue into the Nelles Road South / Dorchester Drive West Traffic Study be approved.

Resolved that Report DPW19-44 dated October 7, 2019 regarding ‘Award of Winston Road Archway’ be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the project to Schilthuis Construction Inc. in the total tendered amount of $156,750 (excluding HST) and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that Report DPW19-45 dated October 10, 2019 regarding the ‘Town Hall Cogen (Turbine) Facility Decommissioning – Update’, be received and that the Director be authorized to offer the turbine and other equipment to a contractor that will take them for their cost of removal and disposal, and that the building, outdoor wall and fencing remain with the concrete slab, and further, that the glycol be removed for environmental protection.

Resolved, that Report DPW19-46 dated October 15, 2019 regarding the ‘2018-2019 Annual Roads QMS Management Review Report’ be received by Town Council for review and information.
