Resolved that Report DPW14-22 dated May 8, 2014 regarding the Award of Contract PWC14-03-411242, Sanitary Sewer Flushing & CCTV Inspection be received and that the Director be authorized to award the Contract to the low bidder, The Pipe Spy Inc. in the total tender amount of $41,905.08 (excluding taxes) and further that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW14-23 dated May 8, 2014, regarding the Award of Contract PWC14-06-440032 George Street, James Street, North Service Road(s), South Service Road and Kelson Avenue Watermain Replacement be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the contract to Trenchline & Roads Inc. in the total tender amount of $1,449,583.00 (excluding HST) and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Resolved that Report DPW14-24, dated May 8, 2014, regarding Contract for Supply of Salt for Winter Control As Per Regional Tender 2014-T-06 Bulk Sodium Chloride for 2014 - 2016 be received; and further, that staff be authorized to purchase winter salt from Cargill Ltd. for the 2014/15 winter season at a unit cost of $60.87 per tonne plus applicable H.S.T.; and further, that staff be authorized to purchase bulk sodium chloride for the extended two (2) year option at the percentage increase of 4% for the second year and 5% for the third year.

Resolved that the GDIA meeting minutes of March 17, 2014 be received as circulated and filed for records purposes.
