Resolved that the Special Council meeting minutes of July 8, 2019 be approved.

Resolved that Resolution No. 19-66 of the Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee meeting minutes of July 9, 20190 be amended to read: Resolved that the correspondence from GAMRU dated July 5, 2019 requesting one-time injection of funds be received for information and to allow them storage space as a donation in kind.

Resolved that the Town of Grimsby Council meeting date of August 19, 2019 be changed to August 26, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.

Resolved that the Special Council meeting minutes of June 17, 2019 be approved.

Resolved that the Special Council meeting minutes of June 25, 2019 be approved.

Resolved that the Special Council meeting minutes of July 3, 2019 be approved.

Resolved that the delegation of Grimsby Energy Inc. Chair Delight Davoli regarding a Status Report be received and an advance of $200,000 be provided in the form of a promissory note.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee meeting minutes of July 8, 2019 be received and that the recommendations contained therein be approved.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee meeting minutes of July 9, 2019 be received and that the recommendations contained therein be approved.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee meeting minutes of July 10, 2019 be received and that the recommendations contained therein be approved.

Page 4 of 8 Council July 15, 2019 Resolved that Resolution No. DRS 19-66 of the Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee meeting minutes of July 9, 2019 be lifted for separate consideration.

Resolved that the Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee meeting minutes of July 10, 2019 be received and that the recommendations contained therein be approved as amended.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board recommends to Town Council: 1. That Report GPL 19-01 dated July 15, 2019 regarding the Interlibrary Loan – Funding Request be received; and, 2. That an additional $1,500.00 funding to cover costs in order to continue providing valuable interlibrary loan service to the community be approved.

Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Grimsby passed By-law No. 05-22 to designate a certain area as an improvement area and to establish a Board of Management therefore; and Page 5 of 8 Council July 15, 2019 Whereas the Board of Management for the Grimsby Downtown Improvement Area consists of directors appointed by Council; and Whereas two directors shall be members of the Council; and Whereas Council may appoint a person to fill the vacancy for the unexpired portion of the term; and Whereas Councillor Randy Vaine has chosen to resign from the Board; Now therefore be it resolved that Mayor Jordan is appointed to the Board of Management for the Grimsby Downtown Improvement Area.

Resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby consents to the passage of By-law No. 2019-52 of The Regional Municipality of Niagara, being a by-law to amend By-law 112-2013 - A Regional By-law to Protect Children and Vulnerable Persons from Exposure to Outdoor Second- hand Smoke.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment meeting minutes of July 2, 2019 be received and filed.

Resolved that the Resolutions from Other Municipalities be received.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 19-55, 19-59, 19- 62, 19-64 - 19-67 inclusive and that same be read for a first time.

Resolved that Council meet in Closed Session under Sec. 239(2)(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees • Grimsby Museum Advisory Committee

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 19-55, 19-59, 19- 62, 19-64 - 19-67 inclusive read a first time now be read a second and third time and finally passed; and that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal the same; any rule of Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
