Grimsby Economic Development Committee

Resolved that, the Grimsby Economic Development Advisory Committee form a working group to conduct preliminary research on the feasibility of a business incubator in the Town of Grimsby; And that, the group provide goals and milestones for the Committee’s review; And that, the Working Group report back to the GEDAC Committee with their findings at the GEDAC meeting of April 15th, 2020. Further that, the working group be comprised of three members of the GEDAC Committee, and one Member of Council: The following members are: Susan Manuel, Chair Mary Jo Clemens Richard Dunda Councillor Kevin Ritchie

Resolved that, staff determine the status of the RED Grant and the financial commitment of the Town; Based on the above, the Committee agrees to resubmit a revised application for the RED Grant for a Business Retention Program, by the deadline of February 24th, 2020.
