Committee of Adjustment

Resolved that the minutes of the Committee of Adjustment meeting of June 10, 2014 be approved as circulated.

Resolved that Submission A-14/14 by C. & L. Murray, for a Minor Variance of the provisions of By-law 14-45, Section 7 Residential RD2 Zone and By-law 71-74, as amended Section 11 Residential R2 Zone, to allow for the construction of a two storey addition with a lot coverage of 26.4%, a frontyard setback of 7.64 metres, sideyard setback of 1.3 metres, in a Residential RD2.25 and R2 Page 3 of 5 Committee of Adjustment July 8, 2014 Zone at # 28 Cherryhill Drive, Grimsby be approved with conditions for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land. Subject to the following conditions: a. That the proposed construction is in accordance with the architectural elevations as shown on drawing A2 of Job 2012-77.

Resolved that Submission A-13/14 by Gerrit and Kathryn Meijerink, for a Minor Variance of the provisions of By-law 71-74, as amended Section 11 Residential R1 Zone & By-law 14-45 RD2 Zone, to legalize a new lot area of 565 square metres as the result of a proposed consent to sever application (B-05/14) in a Residential R1 and RD2 Zone at # 9 Roberts Road, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.

Resolved that Submission B-05/14 by G. & K. Meijerink for consent to convey be granted as per the Notice of Decision.
