Resolved That Report HG 23-07 - Request for Street Name – 362 & 398 North Service Road dated April 11th, 2023, be received; and 1. That the Heritage Grimsby Advisory Committee recommends that cobblestones be the street name used within the approved development at 362 & 398 North Service Road; and 2. That the recommended street name for the approved development as well as Andreychuk and Hannah be sent to the Region for review and approval so that they can be used on sites within the Town as needed. 3.That the Grimsby Historical Society be asked to consider making Grimsby's indigenous history a priority in the suggestion of future street names.

Resolved That Report HG 23-06 - 346 Main Street West – Municipal Heritage Register Garage Demolition Request dated April 11th, 2023, be received; and 1.That the demolition/alteration request for the garage at 346 Main Street West be recommended for approval; and 2. That the garage on 346 Main Street West be photo documented and copies be provided to the Grimsby Historical Society for their archives; and 3. That viable material from the garage be salvaged and/or offered to salvage companies to avoid high-quality materials going into the landfill, including the brick floor, and that wherever possible the salvaged materials be reintegrated into the heritage site; and 4. That Heritage Staff recommendations on the Minor Variance application be endorsed.
