Resolved that the delegation of Michelle Seaborn, Alderman, Town of Grimsby, regarding Doors Open Grimsby 2016 be received.

Resolved, that the Heritage Advisory Committee will recognize 12 house in 2016 under the Recognition Plaque Program.

Resolved, that the Committee receives the update regarding the plaque work plan.

Resolved, that the Committee requests that the existing designation plaque at #268 Main Street West be taken down.

Resolved, That the Heritage Committee requests that the official story of the property at #268 Main Street West be updated to include reference to the full story of the house and families associated with it from pre-history to the present day.

Resolved, that the Committee receives the update regarding the Grimsby Beach Information Session.

Resolved, that the Committee Receives the update regarding the Grand Avenue Tree Stand work plan.

Resolved, that the Committee receives the update regarding the mapping work plan.

Resolved, that the Committee receives the update regarding the 2016 Art Contest.

Resolved, that the Heritage Advisory Committee recommends that an Information Session is conducted to explore the interest in forming a Heritage Conservation District or Community Improvement Plan along Main Street West.

Resolved, that the Committee receives the update regarding the 2016 Doors Open event.

Resolved, that staff be requested to review the request to amend the Page 7 of 7 Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee April 5, 2016 Site Plan Control By-Law and provide the Heritage Committee with a report for consideration with respect to site plan control and other tools for guiding urban design and heritage conservation.
