Resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby appoint Pat Susnyar as Deputy Clerk for the purpose of the meeting to be held on Monday, January 18, 2016.

Resolved that the Council meeting minutes for December 18, 2015 be approved.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment meeting minutes for January 6, 2016 be received and filed.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee meeting minutes for January 11, 2016 be approved.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee meeting minutes for January 12, 2016 be approved.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee meeting minutes for January 13, 2016 be approved.

Resolved that the resignation from the Grimsby Economic Development Committee of K. DiFrancesco be accepted with regret.

Resolved that the resignation from the Grimsby Art Gallery Advisory Committee of M. Conley be accepted with regret.

Resolved that the funds in the following amount be distributed from the funds received from Niagara Power Inc. in lieu of Shareholder representative Directors' compensation: Grimsby Affordable Housing Partnership $500.00

Resolved that the correspondence from the National Eating Disorder Information Centre be received and that the request to declare February 1 to February 7, 2016 as Eating Disorder Awareness Week be approved.

Resolved that Council meet in Closed Session under Sec.239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Town Manager interviews

Resolved the Council return to Open Session.

Resolved that the Special Council meeting minutes for January 9, 2016 be approved.

Resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby confirm the direction given to staff in a Closed Session.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 16-02 to 16- 05 inclusive and that same be read a first time.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 16-02 to 16- 05 inclusive read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed; and that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule to the contrary notwithstanding.
