Planning Development Committee

Johnston; Resolved that Report P.A. 16-37 regarding a site plan application by Elderlife Carehome Ltd. for a proposed retirement residence development at 575 Main Street West be received; And that the application be approved subject to the conditions listed in Appendix "A" to this report; And that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the development agreement on the Town's behalf.

Resolved that Report P.A. 16-36, regarding the Draft Plan of Standard Condominium Application 26CD-16-1602 for 22 John Street be received and that: a) the draft plan be approved subject to the conditions identified in Appendix "A" of this report with the exception that Condition #1 be amended to have draft plan approval expire on November 7th, 2019 and further; b) the Town Traffic By-law No. 89-2000 be amended in accordance with the draft by-law attached to the report as Appendix "C".

Resolved that Report P.A. 16-38 regarding an application to revise an approved site plan at 43 Kerman Avenue be received and that the application be approved in part subject to the conditions specified in Section 3.4 of the report to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning.

Seaborn; Resolved that the Town of Grimsby Hospital Precinct Neighbourhood Commercial Corridor Official Plan Amendment Study, Terms of Reference dated October 25, 2016, as amended be received and endorsed with a municipal contribution of up to $50,000 and that qualified consultants be circulated the Terms of Reference and invited to submit proposals to undertake the project.
