Resolved that Submission A-02/15 by David Van Leeuwen, for a Minor Variance of the provisions of By-law 14-45, as amended Section 7.0 Residential Detached (RD2) Zone, to allow for the construction of a one storey garage addition, with a frontyard setback of 11.8 metres, sideyard setback of 1.2 metres, and to allow Page 3 of 3 Committee of Adjustment February 24, 2015 the garage to project .3 metres beyond the front of the porch in a Residential Detached (RD2) Zone at # 24 Garden Drive, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.
