Bentley; Resolved that Report DPW15-15 dated March 23, 2015 regarding Page 2 of 4 Public Works Committee April 15, 2015 the Downtown Arch-Banner Application Form, General Conditions, Installation Fees and Region of Niagara Licence Agreement, be received and that the recommendations and requirements contained therein be approved and that the installation fee be set at $200 per installation (erecting and removal) and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the Downtown Arch Licence Agreement with the Niagara Region.

DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW15-16 dated April 2, 2015 regarding the Cemetery Columbarium Location and Style be received and that the proposed Mountain Cemetery location and the style of columbarium identified herein be approved and further, that a future Budget consideration be given for a columbarium in the Queen’s Lawn Cemetery at the location proposed.

Bentley; Resolved that Report DPW15-17, dated April 9, 2015, regarding Award of Contract PWC15-52130-B, Supply of One (1) New 2015 Full-Size Extended/Supercab Pickup Truck (6,000 LBS. GVWR) be received; and further, that the quote from Niagara Motors Limited of Virgil, Ontario, in the amount of $24,747.00 ($21,900.00 plus HST) for one (1) new 2015 full-size extended/supercab pickup truck be accepted.

DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW15-18 dated April 7, 2015 regarding ‘Amendment to Traffic By-law 89-2000 to Include Parking Restrictions at Canada Post Community Mailboxes’ be received and the proposed amendment to By-law 89-2000 as described in this report be approved by Council.

Bentley; Resolved that the correspondence received from Race Kit Event Service Inc., Ironman Canada Inc. and Iron Girl Canada to request approval for Jerry's Peach Bud Road Race scheduled for June 30, 2015, Grimsby Triathlon scheduled for July 19, 2015 and Iron Girl Canada Triathlon scheduled for August 9, 2015 be authorized to use Town roads for their events subject to all notifications and insurance requirements being submitted prior to the event.

DiFlavio; Resolved that the correspondence received from B. Hendricksen Construction Ltd. regarding the MTO bridge reconstruction for Maple Avenue and Lane Closures from April 20, 2015 to August 2015 be received for information and filed for records purposes.

Bentley; Resolved that the GDIA Meeting minutes of February 17, 2015 be received as circulated and filed for records purposes.
