Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-06 regarding a site plan application by Landmart Homes for proposed single detached dwellings at Lot 168 to 175 of Escarpment Vista Estates be received; And that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the development agreement on the Town's behalf. And that the site plan agreement restrict: a) pools b) hot tubs c) accessory buildings d) play structures e) decks f) fencing between the building and Main Street West. And that the required fencing be in accordance with the approved plan.

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-06 be received and that staff be directed to review the site plan with the developer to refine plans to Page 3 of 5 Planning & Development Committee February 24, 2015 be more consistent with the intent of the Official Plan for properties along Main Street West.

That Report P.A. 15-04 Grimsby Special Places, Significant Cultural Heritage Landscapes in the Town of Grimsby and attached study be received; And that recommendations contained in Section 8.0 of the study titled "Grimsby's Special Places, Significant Cultural Heritage Landscapes in the Town of Grimsby" be endorsed; And that an Inventory of Cultural Heritage Landscapes in Grimsby be established; And that the 39 cultural heritage landscapes identified in the study be approved and included in the Grimsby Inventory of Cultural Heritage Landscapes; And that the 39 identified cultural heritage landscapes be considered for inclusion on a new schedule in the Town of Grimsby Official Plan along with associated cultural heritage landscape policies through either a town-initiated Official Plan Amendment or as part of the next scheduled Official Plan review, including required public consultation processes.

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-03 regarding Planning Application Fees be received, and that the revised fee schedule attached as Appendix "A" be approved, and a by-law be passed implementing the revised rates effective March 17, 2015.

That the Planning and Development Committee Report respecting the Grimsby Heritage Awards be received; And that the Grimsby Heritage Awards program be approved and awards presented at a recommended timeline of every two years.

Resolved that the following Public Meeting minutes be adopted as Schedule "A" to Planning & Development Committee minutes dated February 24, 2015. Schedule "A": Public Meeting Minutes January 13, 2015 Regarding a Zoning Amendment Application Z-13-06, 107 Main Street East
