Johnston; "RESOLVED, That Report DPW08-35, dated December 4, 2008, Page 1 of 3 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE December 10, 2008 release of the Two-percent Maintenance Hold Back for Contract PWC06-440015 – Emily Street, Rosedale Avenue, Livingston Avenue, Hazelwood Avenue, Hawthorne Drive, Brierwood Avenue, Elizabeth Street, Lakeside Drive, Murray Street, Nomad Court and North Service Road, Watermain Rehabilitation and, PWC06-400007 – Murray Street Sanitary Sewer be received, and further that the Director be authorized to release the Two-percent Maintenance Hold Back to Al-Pak Demolition Services Limited, O/A Al-Pak Construction Services in the amount of $25,776.19.”

Johnston; "RESOLVED, That correspondence from Instride Productions dated October 3, 2008 regarding the Grimsby Half Marathon and 5K Race scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2009 and that the event be approved subject to the applicant obtaining Regional Permits if required, notifying the emergency services, and advertising the race schedule and route in the two local newspapers at least one week prior to the event.”
