Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A.15-01 regarding an application for zoning by-law amendment by Schuit Homes Inc. for 107 Main Street East be received and that the application be approved. Further that the draft by-law attached in Appendix ‘A’ be amended with the minimum interior side yard being maintained at 3 metres. And that Unit #6 be removed from Block B and that the lot coverage be reduced to reflect the removal of one unit. And that the Holding Provisions (H) symbol be removed from the Zoning Amendment at 107 Main Street East and that the minimum rear yard be 5.9m. Further that the draft by-law attached as Appendix “A” be forwarded to Council for approval.

Resolved that the minutes of the Property Standards Meeting held on November 12, 2014, be received as information.

Resolved that Alderman David Wilson be appointed as Vice-Chair of the Planning & Development Committee for the current term of Council.

Resolved that a terms of reference be brought forward for consideration with respect to an East Grimsby Waterfront Master Plan and Trail Plan with connections to the West End Waterfront Trail. Further consideration be given to including an East Grimsby Waterfront Master Plan and Trail Plan in the 2015 consolidated budget.
