Resolved that Councillor Lianne Vardy be appointed Vice Chair person of the Public Works Committee for the current term of Council.

Resolved, that the Public Works Committee recommends Report DPW19-08 dated February 6, 2019, regarding the ‘2018 Annual Drinking Water System Municipal Summary Report’, be received by Town of Grimsby Council for review and information.

Resolved, that the Public Works Committee recommends Report DPW19-09 dated February 6, 2019, regarding the ‘2018 Annual Drinking Water System Water Quality Report’, be received by Town of Grimsby Council for review and information.

Resolved that Report DPW19-10 dated February 12, 2019 regarding ‘Approval for Repairs to Unit #189, 2009 TYMCO Street Sweeper’ be received and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to retain The Equipment Specialist Inc. to complete repairs at the total amount of $111,673.32 (excluding HST).

Page 3 of 4 Public Works Committee February 13, 2019 Resolved that the correspondence dated February 12, 2019 received from Niagara Region Headquarters, Water Compliance Specialist be approved and that all Councillors complete the required Standard of Care Training in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2006.

Resolved that the Memo from R. LeRoux, Director of Public Works, dated February 12, 2019 regarding the Provincial Bill 68 - Municipal Act Changes and Requirements be received for information and the matter of increased tree canopy and vegetation protection and enhancement be forwarded to the incoming Town Manager.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee go into a Closed Session under Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act: (a) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; (e) Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee return to open session.

Resolved that the Confidential Memo of February 12, 2019 by Katarina Bohar, Manager of Human Resources, regarding a Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario Case be received for information.
