Administration Finance Committee

Resolved that Report FIN 12-10 dated April 4, 2012 regarding the 2012 General Levy and Tax Rates be received; and That the tax ratios and subclass tax reductions as outlined in Schedule "A" be adopted in accordance with the Regional Municipality of Niagara By-law No. 29-2012; and That the Town of Grimsby general tax levy and tax rates as outlined in Schedule "B" be approved and that the tax levy and tax rates be included in the 2012 Tax Levy By-law.

Resolved that Report FIN 12-11 dated April 4, 2012 regarding the 2012 Regional General and Waste Management Tax Levies and Tax Rates be received; and That the Regional Municipality of Niagara General Levy and Tax Rates as outlined in Schedule "A" be adopted in accordance with Regional Municipality of Niagara By-law No. 30-2012, and that the levy and tax rates be included in the 2012 Tax Levy and Tax Rates By-law; and That the Regional Municipality of Niagara Waste Management Levy and Tax rates as outlined in Schedule "B" be adopted in accordance with Regional Municipality of Niagara By-law 30-2012, and that the levy and tax rates be included in the 2012 Tax Levy and Tax Rates By-law.

Resolved that Report FIN 12-12 dated April 4, 2012 regarding the 2012 Sanitary Sewer Levy and Rates be received; and That the rates as outlined in Schedule "A" be approved; and That the levy and rates be included in the 2012 Tax Levy and Tax Rate By- law.

Resolved that Report FIN 12-13 dated April 4, 2012 regarding the 2012 Water Rates be received; and That the rates as outlined in Schedule "A" be approved; and That the rates be included in the 2012 Water Rates By-law.

Resolved that Report FIN 12-15 dated April 4, 2012 regarding the 2012 Grimsby DIA Levy and Tax Rates be received; and That the rates as outlined in Schedule "A" be approved; and That the levy and rates be included in the 2012 Tax Levy and Tax Rates By- law.

Resolved that Report FIN 12-16 dated April 4, 2012 with reference to the 2011 Analysis of Portfolio Investments be received.

Resolved that the Town Manager and Director of Finance/Treasurer be authorized to issue specific complaints to the Assessment Review Board, and that the Town Clerk prepare the necessary by-law.

Resolved that the correspondence from Ontario Infrastructure dated March 16, 2012 with reference to Realty Disposal and Vacant Space Notice, property located at Betts Avenue and Lake Street in Grimsby, be received.

Resolved that Report EDTF 2-2012 dated April 4, 2012 with reference to the Niagara Gateway Welcome Centre be received.

Resolved that correspondence in the form of a memorandum from Niagara Regional Chair Gary Burroughs with reference to Governance Review Update be received.
