Property Standards Committee and Committee of Adjustment

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment minutes of March 17, 2026 be approved as amended.

Resolved that Minor Variance Application A03-26 for 42 Ontario Street, to permit an exterior side yard setback of 1.6 metres abutting a residential area, whereas 3 metres is required, as per Site Specific 293, Section 8.4.2, Table 15, of Zoning By-law 14-45, as amended; to permit a minimum setback to parking spaces of 0.15 metres abutting Ontario Street, whereas 0.6 metres is required, as per Site Specific 293, Section 8.4.2, Table 15, of Zoning By-law 14-45, as amended; to permit a parking lot within 0.0 metres of a property line abutting a Residential Zone, whereas 4.5 metres is required, as per Section 5.5 b) of Zoning By-law 14- 45, as amended; to permit the width of an entrance or exit to a lot be 6.4 metres, whereas the width of an entrance or exit to a lot be not less than 7.5 metres nor more than 10.5 metres measured along the street line, as per Section 5.11 b) i) of Zoning By-law 14-45, as amended; to permit that the minimum number of parking spaces be 10, whereas the minimum number of parking spaces required is 11, as per Site Specific 293, Section 8.4.2, Table 15, of Zoning By-law 14-45, as amended be approved with conditions. 1. That a 2 metre board privacy fence be constructed along parking spaces 4 to 6, of the east property line. 2. That bumper blocks be installed along parking spaces 7 to 10 of the east property line.

Resolved that the Property Standards Committee extend the compliance date for Property Standards Order No. 2025-644 to May 30, 2026.
