"RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-01 dated December 18, 2008 regarding the Future Region of Niagara Waste Collection Contract and the recommended Enhanced Levels of Service be approved and that the Region also be notified that the Town supports the “Public Open Space” recycling program subject to the costs of this program being identified and further consideration by Town Council.”

"RESOLVED, That Report No. DPW09-02 dated December 23, 2008 regarding the Assumption of Municipal Services for Lake Orchards Estates Extension – Phase 2 be received, and further, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to release the current Letter of Credit in the amount of $130,128.00, and that the Director of Public Works be authorized to issue the Final Certificate of Completion of Services, and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary Roadway Assumption By-law.”

"RESOLVED, That Report DPW09-03 dated January 6, 2009 regarding the release of the Ten Percent Construction Lien Hold Back – Contract PWC08-02-320032 - 2008 Guiderail Replacement / Installation Program be received, and that the Director be authorized to release the ten percent construction lien hold back to Peninsula Construction Inc. in the amount of $19,316.21; and further, release the 2% One-Year Maintenance hold back in the amount of $3,863.24 when the one year maintenance period expires on December 9, 2009 in favour of Peninsula Construction Inc.”

"RESOLVED, That the correspondence received from Regional of Niagara, Supervisor Traffic Studies, Petar Vujic dated December 3, 2008 regarding the Traffic Operations at the Intersection of Regional Road 81 (Main Street West) and Woolverton Road be received for information and filed."
