Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A. 17-12 regarding applications for Draft Plan of Standard Condominium approval Homes by DeSantis (Casablanca) Inc. 2- 10 Concord Place be received and that; a) the plan of standard condominium be draft approved subject to the conditions in Appendix "A" to the report; and b) the appropriate By-laws be passed that authorize the Mayor and Town Clerk to sign all agreements on the Town's behalf necessary to implement these approvals.

Resolved that Report P.A. 17-11 regarding a site plan application by Niagara Catholic District School Board for an addition to the Our Lady of Fatima School building at 69 Olive Street be received; And that the application be approved subject to the conditions listed in Appendix “A” to this report; And that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the development agreement on the Town’s behalf.

Wilson; Resolved that Report P.A. 17-10 regarding application for the removal of part lot control by VW Manor Inc., Josie's Landing 8 Nelles Road North, be received and that: a) an Amendment to the Development Agreement is hereby approved; b) a By-law to temporarily lift Part Lot Control be forwarded to Council for approval following the execution of the agreement and the registration of the subdivision; and c) a By-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Town Clerk to sign all agreements on the Town's behalf necessary to implement these approvals.

Johnston; Resolved that the following Public Meeting minutes be adopted as Schedule "A" to the Planning & Development Committee minutes dated March 28, 2017. Page 4 of 6 Planning & Development Committee March 28, 2017 Schedule "A": Public Meeting Minutes dated February 14, 2017, regarding a Draft Plan of Common Element Condominium and Removal of Part Lot Control for 480 Winston Road - Lakehouse Subdivision 26T-16-1501 & 26CD-16-1604.

Resolved that the Minutes of the GEDAC meeting held on February 22nd, 2017, be received as information.

Resolved that the Minutes of the GEDAC Meeting of March 22nd, 2017, be received as information.

Resolved that the Grimsby Economic Development Advisory Committee recommends that the West End Winston Neighbourhood Page 5 of 6 Planning & Development Committee March 28, 2017 be named “Grimsby by the Lake” and that the proposed archway for the downtown bear this name and have a nautical theme.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee approve Resolution GE 17-03, as amended of the GEDAC Meeting of March 22nd, 2017.
