Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-47 regarding an application for zoning by-law amendment by the Town of Grimsby for 126 Main Street West be received and that the application be approved. Further that the draft by-law attached in Appendix "A" be forwarded to Council for approval.

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-46, the Planning and Development Committee recommends that the hiring of a Contract Planner be considered for inclusion in the Planning Department budget as part of the 2016 consolidated budget process. And that consideration be given to the completion of an Application Fees review in 2016 to address the costs of additional staffing associated with increased development.

Resolved that Report P.A. 15-48 regarding a request for Extension of Draft Plan of Condominium, 211, 229 and 265 Central Avenue be received, and that draft approval be extended for a two year period to December 19, 2017, subject to the modified conditions attached to this report.

Resolved that the GHAC Minutes of the meeting held on November 30, 2015, be received as information.

Resolved that the GEDAC Minutes of the meeting held on November 25, 2015, be received as information.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee go into Closed Session under Section 239(2)(e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals affecting the municipality or local board – OMB Decision regarding appeal by Olga McNeill to Zoning By-law 14-45 as amended.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee return to Open Session.
