Resolved that Report P.A. 13-61 regarding a site plan application by NRB Inc. for a proposed warehouse building at 129 South Service Road be received and that the application be approved subject to the applicant meeting the conditions specified in Appendix „A‟ of the report to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning. Further, that a by-law be passed that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the development agreement on the Town‟s behalf.

Resolved that Report 13-62 "Roof Mounted Solar Panels", dated December 10, 2013, be received; Page 3 of 5 Planning & Development Committee December 10, 2013 And that for the reasons outlined in P.A. 13-62, it is hereby recommended that the following resolution in support of the following application to the Ontario Power Authority for roof mounted solar panels be endorsed: 1) For 241 South Service Road Whereas Abundant Solar Energy Inc. (the "Applicant") proposes to construct and operate a rooftop solar (the "Project") on 241 South Service Road West (the "lands") in the Town of Grimsby under the Province's FIT Program; And Whereas the applicant has requested that Council of the Town of Grimsby indicate by resolution Council's support for the construction and operation of the project on the property; And Whereas pursuant to the rules governing the FIT program (the "FIT Rules"), Applications whose project receive the formal support of Local Municipalities be awarded Priority Points, which may result in the applicant being offered a FIT Contract prior to other persons applying for FIT Contracts; Now therefore it is resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby supports the construction and operation of the project on the lands.

Resolved that the minutes of the GHAC meeting held on November 19, 2013, be received as information.
