Planning Development Committee

Resolved that Report P.A. 18-11 regarding site plan approval by Phelps Homes at 211, 229 and 265 Central Avenue be received and that the application be approved subject to the conditions outlined in Appendix "A" of this report. Further that a by-law be forwarded to Council for approval that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the agreement on the Town's behalf following the applicant meeting the conditions of approval to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning. And that staff be requested to provide a memorandum to the Mayor by the next Council meeting to clarify and/or refine conditions noted by the Planning and Development Committee.

Resolved that Report DBE-18-3 dated May 8, 2018 be received and the Site Alteration By-Law 17-80 be repealed and replaced with the proposed new by-law including changed as identified in the report.

Page 4 of 8 Planning & Development Committee May 8, 2018 Resolved that Report DBE 18-4 dated May 8, 2018 be received and the Parking and Administration By-Law 16-82 be amended to reflect new parking restrictions, set fines and the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the By-Law Amendment.

Resolved that Report P.A. 18-10 regarding a revised application for site plan approval by Rosebay Construction Inc. at 10 Windward Drive be received, and that the application be approved subject to the conditions outlined in Appendix "A" of Report P.A. 18-10 and the revised plans submitted May 8, 2018. Further that a by-law be forwarded to Council for approval that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to sign the agreement on the Town's behalf following the applicant meeting the conditions of approval to the satisfaction of the Planning Director.

Resolved that the minutes of the GEDAC meeting of April 25, 2018 be received as information.

Resolved that the minutes of the Heritage Grimsby Advisory Committee meeting of May 1, 2018 be received as information.

Resolved that the properties identified by the Heritage Committee at their May 1, 2018 meeting be added to the Municipal Heritage Register.

Resolved that the Planning and Development Committee go into Closed Session under Section 239 2(e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before and administrative tribunal affecting the municipality or local board - Consultant Selection, 133 Main Street East, Heritage Property Standards Enforcement.

Resolved that the Planning and Development Committee return to Open Session.

Resolved that Report P.A. 18-12 titles "Consultant Selection, 133 Main Street East, Heritage Property Standards Enforcement", dated May 8, 2018 be received; And that the ERA Architects proposal for the required repairs at #133 Main Street East in the amount of $6,400.00 plus HST be approved; And that a by-law be passed to authorize an agreement between ERA Architects and The Town of Grimsby for the required repairs to the property at #133 Main Street East in order to bring the property into compliance with the final and binding Property Standards Order. Further, that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the agreement on the Town's behalf.
